New Cars: First full pictures of the Pontiac G8
Granted, the G8 is just a slightly tweaked Holden Commodore SS-V, with some new bodywork and bumpers, but it shows that GM is truly back from the dead. Not only that, it's a example of how a global company can adopt cars from its overseas subsidiaries (here: the Ausie Holden) quickly and inexpensively. There is only one caveat: the car being adopted needs to be good to start with, which is why some of GM's previous efforts failed (the bloby Pontiac GTO and almost all lackluster Daewoo-based Suzukis and Chevrolets). And the Holden Commodore is one sexy hunk of a car!
