Apparently SAIC dropped its plans to re-skin the bronze age Rover 45 (nee 400), and is developing its own sedan instead. Don't know any details, but I like what I'm seeing - the general shape of the car is really nice, as are the proportions.Having said that, I know SAIC is not into copying other manufacturers like the rest of the Chinese car industry, but there is a certain whiff of the Honda Civic sedan in the profile and Lexus IS in the details. I hope I'm wrong, but with these guys you never know
