Why would you ever chose such a color for debuting a new car is beyond me (unless the target audience are Salmon-loving Norwegian Bears). But if you squint enough and get past the color, you'll see... that basically nothing has changed. The only exterior difference I could notice is the power dome on the hood.
The big news is supposed to sit under this rather tasteless ornament: notably a heavily-updated 3.5 V6. The current 3.5 V6 is a venerable unit, slightly coarse in the top rev-range, but has successfully powered cars from the Nissan and Infiniti for the past decade. In order to squeze yet more life out of the engine, Nissan has replace or modified 80% of the internal parts, resulting in a higher redline of 7,500 rpm, 500 higher than before. For the record, the updated unit makes 309 hp (up from 296 hp previously).
