That's right, Ford is still planning to build a successor to its hardcore hatch, the Focus RS. Like its predecessor, the new one will again be two-wheel drive with a semi-active limited differential at the front. Power? 280 hp, making it comfortably the most powerful production FWD hatch ever. Let's hope that, in order to contain the torque-steer, they wont' have to deaden the steering completely - after all, a communicative steering rack it's always been the hallmark of quick Fords.
P.S. I think the existence of this project means the end for the planned 4WD Focus Cosworth
