Just to finish off today's posts, I found this amazing Lambo Gallardo-based design. Not sure about the front, but the profile looks smoother and more elegant (more like the Murcielago, actually), but it's the end that's the real killer - it looks really mean!
Looks stunning! Nice to see an old-fashioned cabriolet in a market which is overrun with big-butt folding hardtop Coupe-Cabriolets. With the Procee'd (the 3-door concept on which the Excee'd is based) already looking a lot like Audi's A3, this might actually be a fairly accurate preview of what Audi's upcoming A3 cabriolet will look like :) I just wish they did not have to "blandify" the gorgeous detailing so much for production!
Looks like another "sports" 4x4 coupe concept, this time by Hyundai's European Design studio, with the companies new corporate grille.
This is the concept car that may lead to the replacement of the identically-named FIAT from the 90s, which in its time was considered quite the competitor to the Mazda MX-5. The new model is said to be based on the Panda's platform, which could lead to the production version being both cheap and dynamic to drive, if the recent Panda 100HP is anything to go by.
Looks very late-80s, but may turn out to be better in flesh. Somehow the raised rear seats with their separate glass canopy make this car look like a futuristic Papa-mobile :)
Apparently Toyota and Honda will go head-to-head with their hybrid concept cars at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Judging by how much good publicity they receive for producing hybrid cars, they should both quit Formula 1 and leave it to the professionals - by the looks of the pre-season testing, they both lag a lot behind the best teams.
...the Flux!
This is meant to be a homage to the Diatto marque, which was heavily involved in motorsport in the 1920s until disappearing in 1929. Of course in reality its another Ferrari re-skin, something that is becoming increasingly popular these days - just recall the Ferrari Pininfarina P4/5 or Zagato's own Ferrari Zagato 575 GTZ. This car actually seems to borrow some details from the latter, such as the vent behind or the crease over the front wheels (here also over the rear ones). But overall it looks rather bland, especially the Lotus-esque front and amorphous profile.
What you see here is the upcoming Peugeot 207 SW (Station Wagon) in faux-by-four guise. It shares the concept of its rear with the 407 SW, although the flat and utilitarian-looking tailgate is at odds with the swoopy profile. While I'm not a fan of the 207 hatch's looks, this promises to be more of a looker.
Dodge's rival to the MX-5 and riposte to the General's Pontiac Solstice / Saturn Sky is rather less sexy than either of those cars. The front reminds me of a fish with it's small eyes/headlamps and half-open mouth/grille. From the profile the Demon is very much like Honda's Beat, which means very compact and somehow FWD-looking. And the end is a bit faux-Aston, bit Boxster, and in the end no good. At least the interior, if it keeps the concept's simple lines and nice materials, will beat its rivals hands down.

This is a sketch of the upcoming Honda hybrid car, whose production version will slot above the Civic hybrid in Honda's lineup. Together with the production fuel-cell car, the FCX, and Jenson Button's 2007 F1 championship contender, the RA107, it will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show in a month's time.
Mazda will debut this compact crossover concept next month at the Geneva Motor Show. It will be the company's new chief designer's, Laurens van den Acker's, third concept after the Nagare and Ryuga. Their purpose is to introduce to the public Mazda's new "flow" design language, as well as provide some indication as to the niches the company will enter in the near future.
